Christies of Genesee is located in the picturesque town of Golden, Colorado. It’s just a short drive from downtown Denver and offers breathtaking views of the mountains and easy access to some of Colorado’s most iconic scenery.
There’s a charming bridge over the interstate right next to the venue, where many couples love to capture some stunning sunset photos with the mountains as a backdrop. Trust me, the lighting here can be absolutely magical!

The Lookout Mountain Nearby: Located just minutes from Denver, this venue is easily accessible for both local and out-of-town guests. Plus, with Lookout Mountain just 20 minutes away, you have the perfect spot for a breathtaking engagement session close by. I’ve spent countless hours at Lookout Mountain, soaking in the views and finding peace, so it’s a place close to my heart.
Friendly and Supportive Staff: Kerri and Frank, the owners of Christies of Genesee, are some of the sweetest and most down-to-earth people you’ll ever meet. They go above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect, from hosting monthly tastings to help you choose your menu to offering support throughout the planning process.

Christies of Genesee is a versatile venue that can accommodate both intimate and larger weddings of up to 150 people.
Ceremony and Reception Options
The venue has several gorgeous spots for your special moments, from their picturesque outdoor ceremony space with stunning mountain views to a cozy indoor option that’s perfect for any weather.
And don’t forget the woodsy area right behind the venue – it’s an easy spot to sneak away for some dreamy bridal party and couple’s portraits. Bobby and Sarah’s bridal party photos here were some of the most fun and lively I’ve ever captured!
Packages and Pricing
They are an all inclusive wedding venue, so their packages include services like, catering, bar service, and event coordination, making it easier for you to focus on the fun parts of planning. One thing I love about this venue is how cost-efficient it is, especially given the level of service and the stunning location.
And here’s a fun fact: most of my wedding packages include an engagement session, so you’ll have the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera before your big day. I am happy to help plan & pick the perfect Engagement location for your love story! You can choose a location that’s meaningful to you like Bobby and Sarah did with Union Station, the place where they met and share countless memories together. Or you can also just choose a location for the the breathtaking views like Kiwi and Spencer did with Lookout Mountain. (The views here are incredible and super close to the Venue!!) Whatever you envision your Engagement session to look like, I am here for it!

They offer a variety of planning resources and recommendations to help you create the wedding of your dreams. Plus, with monthly tastings, you’ll have the chance to sample the menu and choose the perfect dishes for your celebration.
If you’re looking for inspiration, Kiwi and Spencer’s wedding had a fun, unique twist with a piñata for a cake – how cool is that? Meanwhile, Bobby and Sarah went all out with a nerdy theme, complete with a Hobbit cake and DND-themed tables. One of Bobby’s best dance moves was rolling the die his best man gave him. These personal touches are what make each wedding so special!
